I really do think this will change your life.
Pre-show audio description notes.

Orpheus and Eurydice:
Introducing creative audio description into this powerful Black, lesbian retelling of the old Greek tale. I worked with Maz and the team, leading a workshop to explore audio description and its creative potential. Iron fantasy - She Goat
The She Goat team investigates what it means to feel strong! As part of their research and development, I joyed them, devising how creative audio description lives across themes of 90’s TV shows, video games, and fantasy lands of gods and myths.
Fade
As the Creative Audio Description Consultant for FADE, I collaborated with the sound designer and movement director to integrate descriptive storytelling into the play. We explored layering sonic narratives to guide visually impaired audiences through silent scenes and transitions between present and past, and choreographed moments. Creating moments of nostalgia, childhood spirit, and adult burden through sonic narratives.
DYCP
During my DYCP, I was mentored by creatives like She Goat, Quiplash, Cathy Crabb, and Nathan Geering, who helped me explore physical theatre and creative audio description. Working with actors Jayran Lear and Menyee Lai, we fused movement with storytelling, using audio description as a richer narrative tool. Themes of aging, youth, and lived experience shaped our process, inspiring my work on a short stories and solo show: Fragments, commissioned by CRIPtic Arts, and When January Visits, commissioned by Rope Ladder Fiction.
